Tax Applied Research Group
The Tax Applied Research Group (TARG) was established in 2007 to act as a focus for taxation related applied research within the Faculty of Business, Environment and Society. Subsequently, the TARG has received external support for its work from the professions, commerce, the academic community, and charitable foundations.
Consultancy and services
The TARG offers independent and professional desk-based and empirical research and consultancy on a wide variety of taxation related matters. Members of the Group can offer technical and empirical research as well as strategic advice on a wide range of taxation and fiscal challenges.
Meetings and conferences
In 2011, the TARG will host the Tax Research Network’s Annual Conference.
