Coventry University Techno CentreThe 5th International Inquiring Pedagogies Conference will be held at the award-winning Coventry TechnoCentre conference venue on Coventry University Technology Park, situated in the centre of Coventry.  (Building 31 on location map)

With almost a thousand years separating the architecture of its modern cathedral and the adjacent mediaeval cathedral ruins, Coventry is known as the 'city in Shakespeare country' and is celebrated as a centre for peace and reconciliation.

The conference gala dinner on Monday 14 September is planned to be held at the St Mary’s Guildhall, located next to Coventry Cathedral, and one of the most important historic sites in the city of Coventry.

Often called “Coventry’s best kept secret”, The Guildhall of St Mary is one of the finest mediaeval guildhalls in England, featuring a fine Tapestry which is 500 years old. In its history of 650 years the Hall witnessed events of both national and local importance. It served as the centre of King Henry VI’s court during the War of the Roses and as a prison to Mary, Queen of Scots. William Shakespeare is thought to have staged his plays here, and George Eliot, who used it as the setting for a scene in one of her novels.
