The H:Factor (Andree Woodcock)
This lecture provided an overview of Professor Woodcock’s research at Coventry University (in areas such as health, transport and education). By reflecting on her research portfolio she explained how she had used such opportunities to consider the potential of ergonomics to champion user issues in an increasingly complex world.
Professor Woodcock argued that ergonomics should concern itself with the human factors challenges in areas such as education, transport and sustainability, and that it is ideally placed to ensure that user issues are taken into account in the design, dissemination and implementation of solutions.
