IAE for Business

The Institute of Applied Entrepreneurship (IAE) for business represents the community of businesses located and supported by Coventry University.
 

IAE Business provides advice and support for starting a new business or developing an existing business.

You can drop in to theHub at any point, to see how we can assit your business. The IAE can be found  within theHub (view map) and offers a wide range of support for budding entrepreneurs.

Our Aims

We aim to unite and develop student and locally run businesses. We actively promote a culture of enterprise and bring support to the student body around business development. Students in Business (SIB) is run by an elected student body and is solely focused on the achievements and development of it’s members.

Starting your own business is a huge challenge

As part of our development programmes we can allocate you with a personal Business Mentor who will guide you through your start-up and development process.  If you need to find out more about our mentoring programme please register.

Each of our mentors has first hand experience of setting up their own business, plus an extensive working background in a variety of specialisms. Our business mentor's role is to guide you through the areas of business that you are less familiar with and to act as a sounding board, and/or critical friend. 

We also offer our 4Front service, that allows you to set up your own virtual office, so you can work from home while maintaining the prestige of an office address.
