The e-Learning Unit (ELU)

The e-Learning Unit supports CUOnline, a collection of e-learning tools sitting around the central virtual learning environment (VLE) used by both Coventry University staff and students.  It encompasses more than a dozen separate applications, from plagiarism checking to blogs and podcasts.  The role of eLU is to ensure a seamless knit of these chosen technologies, and to provide help-desk support to staff on a daily basis via the Flying Squad. 

In addition, the unit also supports teaching staff in the everyday use of these applications, helping them to maximise their pedagogical effectiveness.  It also supports the repository of learning resources, CURVE.
