The aims of the Living & Working With Disability ARG are:

• To promote quality of life within the context of the broader community by working with and for disabled people in researching issues pertinent to the participation of disabled people in all aspects of society
• To facilitate the development of research expertise and support the pursuit of disability related projects by actively encouraging the involvement of others with the existing members
• Our philosophy is firmly rooted within the social model of disability and the concept of empowering participation, and whenever possible we will engage in participatory action research
