Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Interventions
The Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Interventions Applied Research Group are a group of researchers within the department of Physiotherapy and Dietetics, with a broad range of research interests.
Research is focused around meeting the goals and aspirations of people with long term health conditions and disabilities with an emphasis on the provision of rehabilitation interventions across the boundaries of secondary and primary care involving inter-professional teams.
The aims of the Applied Research Group are to:
- Promote research within the group, and to facilitate the development of research expertise and support the pursuit of rehabilitation and physiotherapy related projects by actively encouraging the involvement of others with the existing members
- Support practitioners undertaking research in the field of rehabilitation and physiotherapy and offer supervision for MPhil and PhD students
- Continue to support and develop a number of postgraduate courses offered by the School of Physiotherapy and Dietetics
