Activity-Led Learning Applied Research Group

Activity-Led Learning (ALL) is a pedagogy in which the motivation for learning is provided by stimulating activity that engages and enthuses students and creates challenge, relevance, integration, professional awareness and variety.

This Activity-led Learning Applied Research Group (ALLARG) acts as a forum and a focus for activity-led learning pedagogic research within the Faculty of Engineering and Computing and more widely, nationally and internationally.

Its areas of interest include Activity-led learning pedagogy and curricula, physical and virtual learning spaces for ALL, and evaluation of the effectiveness of ALL.

The Activity-Led Learning Applied Research Group aims to undertake pedagogic research in all aspects of activity-led learning, using its research findings to improve teaching and learning practice.
