About the event

This exciting event gathered key industry players such as Sir John Egan (Chancellor of Coventry University and author of the author of Re-Thinking Construction and the Egan Review of Skills for Sustainable Communities.), Paul King (Chief Executive of the UK Green Building Council), Malcolm Bell (Professor in Surveying and Sustainable Housing at Leeds Metropolitan University) and Neil Jefferson (Chief Executive of the Zero Carbon Hub) and examined how the key issues identified by the Government’s Low Carbon Construction Action Plan published in June 2011 can be addressed..

The aim of the Low Impact Buildings Centre

The aim of the Centre is to engage in research, consultancy and training activities with industry partners to help deliver the step change required if we are to make the transition to a low carbon construction sector.
