What is "Coventry University on iTunes U"?
iTunes is Apple's world-famous online digital media store where you can download music and films using iTunes software. iTunes U is an area within the store where educational institutions such as Coventry University can provide their own selection of audio and visual material such as talks, lectures and interviews.
Unlike the music and films, this material can be downloaded for free. Coventry University’s iTunes U channel will be launched on 2 June 2009.

Yes, we’re sure. It is completely free of charge to the public.

Do I need any special equipment to access the content?
No. Everything on iTunes U can be downloaded to a computer and listened to, or watched, at your convenience. You can also save the podcasts onto mobile devices such as phones and mp3 players by connecting them to your computer.

If I cannot install iTunes on my computer, is there another way of accessing these resources?
Yes - we have a web version of the same material at www.coventry.ac.uk/podcasts. The web version requires a normal web browser on your PC or Mac.

No, not at all. The Coventry University website remains the authoritative focal point for online information. It contains the very latest, essential information and advice in a range of formats for its many audiences. However, iTunes U does enable us to put all audio and video material in one place, so our many users can find what they are looking for quickly and easily.
