Ecorys, confirm that Coventry University is the largest Leonardo da Vinci promoter amongst other Higher Education Institutions in the UK based on the 2011 Call of Proposals.
Leonardo is part of the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme which promotes European Mobility. Ecorys is the UK National Agency for the Leonardo programme. Ecorys manage the Leonardo grants available to UK organisations.

The NSS is a national initiative, conducted annually since 2005. The survey runs across all publicly funded Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and participating HEIs in Scotland.
The survey asks final year undergraduates to provide feedback on their courses in a nationally recognised format, students on flexible courses will be asked to participate as they near the end of their course but not necessarily in their final year. There are 22 core questions, relating to the following aspects of the student learning experience:

- Assessment and Feedback
- Academic Support
- Organisation and Management
- Learning Resources
- Personal Development
- Overall Satisfaction

Higher education-business and community interaction survey (HE-BCI) is an annual survey that examines the exchange of knowledge between universities and the wider world, and informs the strategic direction of 'third stream' activity that funding bodies and higher education institutions (HEIs) in the UK undertake.
This data is taken from the HE-BCI 2009-10 (the rankings are out of a possible 198 HE institutions across the UK)
Coventry is ranked 1st for the number of consultancy contacts it completes on behalf of SMEs, working with almost 9,500 (37% of the total number of SMEs that worked with a University in 2009-10)
