Incoming study abroad and Erasmus student essentials

London UndergroundHow do I apply to study as an Erasmus student?

Once your home institution has approved your participation in the programme you will need to fill in an Erasmus  and Study Abroad application form and supporting documents provided by your institution.

What we will need

We will need the following information in order to make a decision on your application:

  • All academic transcripts
  • Copies of degree/diploma certificates (stating clearly your highest qualification)
  • One academic reference
  • An English language test score (IELTS/TOEFL etc) (Non-EU students only)
  • Your personal statement
  • Copy of your current passport

It is important that you send this information to us - either paper copies by mail or scanned and emailed - as soon as possible.

Please complete our application form, not the International Office one otherwise this will delay your application being processed.

What are the criteria to be accepted as an Erasmus student at Coventry University?

If you wish to study at Coventry University under the Erasmus programme, your home university department must have a formal agreement with Coventry University. You must then contact the Erasmus coordinator at your home institution to discuss your eligibility. If no agreement exists, it is not possible to participate in the Erasmus or study abroad programme.

How long will I spend at Coventry University?

Students can spend between three months and an academic year at Coventry University in the framework of agreed arrangements between the universities.

How do I know which School or Faculty my degree fits into?

Please see the School and Faculty web pages below which should confirm who you should contact.

How do I choose my modules?

You can receive your module choice by contacting the relevant departmental administrator. You will still need your home coordinator to accept your module selection.
