HDTI houses design studios, workshop and test areas where clients, researchers and healthcare professionals can explore and evaluate new ideas.

Our designers are highly experienced in assistive technology and inclusive design. We are happy to provide support at any point in the design process – from early stage concept work through CAD modelling to rapid prototyping.

Funded support for West Midlands SMEs

A variety of funding schemes are available through HDTI. West Midlands SMEs (small to medium-sized enterprises) are eligible for up to five days of fully funded usability testing provided by the Assistive Technologies & Community Healthcare Development Project, supported by the European Regional Development Fund under Priority 1 - Promoting Innovation and Research & Development. A range of other funding initiatives are also available.
