History
The Faculty:
The Faculty of Engineering and Computing at Coventry University is a large applied scientific and technological centre for learning and research. Activities range from mathematics to civil engineering and building, computer science to mechanical engineering, engineering and knowledge management to aerospace, to name a few.
The great strength of the Faculty is the breadth of coverage and the ability to integrate a range of subjects all framed within the management of technology. The Faculty is very focused on the application of science and technology to the real world, from sought after graduates to applied research, making real impact with our business partners.
The Future:
We have a long and distinguished history of radical educational development, our focus is now to take that to a new level. Our four thousand students benefit from learning spaces that are fit for current purpose, our objective is to step beyond current purpose and into future excellence.
We are changing the way in which our students learn, we are focusing our research activities to be even more directed towards business needs and we are doing this in the light of a huge investment in new facilities.
Join us on this journey to produce the most industry-prepared technical graduates in the world and the most focused applied research for real business needs.
