If you are considering becoming a Coventry student and need some further help to think through your course and career choices, simply phone 024 7765 2011 to arrange a discussion with one of our advisers. They can help you look at all the choices available and to plan ahead for your future career.

During your studies

Information, Advice and Guidance

Careers & Employability Advisers are available to:

  • Help you with your choice of course and modules
  • Help you plan your career, whether you know what you want to do or not
  • Give you the opportunity to recognise and then develop important graduate employment skills
  • Guide and encourage you to market your skills effectively, for example, when filling in application forms and writing your CV
  • Explore all potential opportunities in employment, further study, work abroad, time out or anything else
  • Help you identify employers and vacancies that will be of interest to you
  • Offer guidance, support and encouragement throughout recruitment and selection processes

After you graduate

graduatesCoventry University graduates have access to the Careers & Employability Service indefinitely following graduation.

The services we offer our graduates are:

  • Careers information advice and guidance in person
  • Careers information advice and guidance by phone or email
  • The CU Virtual Careers Library (internal use only)
  • The Careers Library is open throughout the year. If you are making a special journey to the Service, please ring on the morning of your visit: 024 7765 2011.
