The Academic Partnerships Unit at Coventry University
The Academic Partnership Unit (APU) at Coventry University works on a cross-faculty basis to identify, develop and support academic collaborations between Coventry University and institutions throughout the globe.
The APU provides extensive support to our partners supporting the development, management and delivery of programmes. Currently, the University has over 900 academic links within overseas institutions ranging from joint research centres and faculty and student exchange to credit transfer agreements and the delivery of programmes overseas.
There are two mains areas of collaboration that the APU is responsible for:
- Collaborative delivery - delivery of Coventry University undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at partner institutions overseas. There are currently over 5,000 students studying for a Coventry award at over 15 partner institutions in 9 different countries.
- Progression agreements - Joint development or recognition of partner institutions programmes leading to advanced standing on a Coventry undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
