How to pay your accommodation fees

In order to secure your accommodation you are required to pay an advance licence fee deposit. This deposit is deducted from your total rent at the beginning of your contract and your payment plan will be calculated on the remainder of the fee.

Paying by direct debit (DD) or reccuring card payments (RCP) is the easiest and quickest way to pay your accommodation fees.

When you accept your offer you will be asked to choose a payment option, either total payment (full rental invoice) by credit/debit card, or three instalments by DD or RCP – you will also be asked to complete your bank details.

Security checks

While trying to pay your accommodation fees, your bank may request a security check called 3 Domain Secure (3-D Secure).  This is used by certain banks to reduce the risk of fraudulant usage of bank cards.  You will be asked to enter your bank card password to enable the checks, and to make payment.

If this fails, please contact your bank directly.  They will be able to advise you on the process, so that you are able to make payment online.

Accommodation invoice

You will receive an email from the University regarding your accommodation invoice. Please ensure you check your University email account on a regular basis.
