Introduction

The Lanchester Association, was formed around 1990, to provide a variety of informal and agreeable ways in which those, who have retired from the staff of Coventry University and its forerunners, may keep in touch with each other and with the University.

There are normally about eight events each year, between September and the following June, avoiding evenings and weekends and holiday times when family ties may come first. We try to arrange events on different days of the week, so that anybody with a regular commitment has a chance to join in most of the events during the year.
