Hear My Story - Learning Disability Nursing
Learning Disability Nurses help individuals with a range of physical and mental disabilities to lead more independent, healthy lives.
Learning Disability Nursing has many possible career outcomes and there is currently a shortage of well-qualified Learning Disability Nurses, so your prospects at the end of your degree are excellent. Many of our students go on to work in local NHS trusts and some continue their studies with a specialist masters programme in a related field.
There are no fees to pay for Learning Disability Nursing programmes at Coventry University. The local NHS trust will pay your fees, and may also provide a bursary to help with study costs. Some students are lucky enough to be seconded onto our programme, which means that the NHS trust will sponsor their study and pay a small salary at the same time.
The UCAS 2012 entry deadline is approaching and we will be conducting interviews on 8 June 2012. Please apply now to avoid disappointment.
