e-Learning Unit

The e-learning Unit (eLU) is based in the Jaguar Building, Room G11 and Enterprise Centre on the Technology Park.

The e-Learning Unit supports CUOnline Moodle and a collection of e-learning tools that work around the central Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Coventry University staff and students use these e-learning tools as part of their teaching, learning and research.

The e-learning tools encompass applications from plagiarism detection, blogs, podcasts, online portfolios and video conferencing. The role of the e-Learning Unit is to ensure that all technologies are operational from CUOnline Moodle, enhanced through the Design and Development Service, and supported on a daily basis via the Flying Squad.

eLU provides:

• Technical support and advice
• Paper-based and electronic guides
• Flying squad drop in session (by appointment)
