Online resources to support disabled students

A new link had been created from the Coventry University home page:

Courses > Information for  Disabled Students leading to a web page that brings together information about support for students with disabilities.  Students with disabilities are being asked to evaluate the web page and the information  it links to.

Website development

A new web site is being developed that provides online resources to support prospective and enrolled disabled students. This process is strongly supported by disabled students who evaluate the web page and its visibility for accessibility, content, clarity and completeness.  The feedback obtained will be used to bring about improvements.

This project is linked to sub-regional work, funded by Aimhigher, that aims to design and deploy national wide online resource for disabled students and they tutor. It’s objective is to consolidate “best practices”, to help, on one hand tutors how to teach disabled students, and on the other hand, disabled students to more efficiently use support offered to them.
