What is CPD?
Coventry University CPD Definition
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses are designed for and taken by people in employment who are looking to develop their skills and knowledge so as to improve their status within their chosen profession.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an individual employee or employer-led activity that meets the requirements of the workplace, supports company aspirations for highly skilled and productive employees, and facilitates personal growth and career progression of the individual.

Can you support students with disabilities
For students with disabilities, who may have additional support needs, please contact the Disabilities Office (024 7688 8029) before you consider enrolling.
We can then discuss the level of support that is appropriate and available to students on our courses, and the reasonable adjustments that it is possible to make.

How much do your courses cost?
This will be dependant on many factors including the type and length of course, whether it’s accredited and where it’s delivered.
For courses advertised on our online store prices will be included within the course details. For all other courses please contact the course leader or the CPD Unit

How do I enrol on a course?
Once you have decided on a course, and if applicable, click on the 'apply here' and follow the instructions for that particular course.
You must apply before enrolment for courses unless specifically stated otherwise. For those courses purchased via the on-line store enrolment is at time of purchase.

Can I register and pay for my course on-line

How can I pay for my course fees
If you are booking a course via our online store then you need to pay in full at the time of booking. We accept credit card, debit card and purchasing cards.
Unfortunately we do not accept deposits or instalment payments. If you experience trouble paying online then please contact the CPD Unit.

Can I cancel once I’ve enrolled?

Are there any standard entry requirements
Our entry requirements are flexible and dependant upon the professional development course you choose and particularly the type and level. Specific entry requirements for each course will vary and for many courses there are not necessarily any formal entry requirements.
More information will be available from the individual course leaders and/or via the course information on the online store.
