Coventry University Law School

Law has been taught at Coventry University for over forty years and continues to be highly popular. We pride ourselves on the good relationship that exists between staff and students.

Practical Legal Skills

We encourage our students to develop their practical legal skills. The Newsome Vaughan Mooting competition, sponsored by Newsome Vaughan Solicitors, runs each year and enables students to develop their advocacy skills in a mock appeal.

The Coventry Legal Advice Service offers students the opportunity to advise clients in a pro bono setting under the guidance of members of staff who are qualified solicitors.

Courses

Coventry University Law School offers a range of stimulating Undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The school also offers employment and consumer law courses on a commercial basis.

Our Graduates

Graduates are able to acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills to enter the job market at a competitive level. Many of our law graduates regularly secure places on the Legal Practice and Bar Vocational Courses in preparation for professional qualification as solicitors or barristers.

Legal Practice Course
Coventry University now offers the new accredited National Part Time Legal Practice Course (LPC).

This flexible course starting in September 2009 is available part-time weekend only.
